Diamond eggplant is a reliable and early producer, even in cooler climates, of dark purple fruits with green-tinted flesh that are 9” long and 3” in diameter. Born on compact 2’ tall plants in clusters of 4-6, these have a mild creamy flavor and are never bitter. Original seed stock collected by Seed Savers Exchange in 1993 from the Ukraine.
